Do you clip or grind nails?
We grind nails using a specialized tool — it's gentler, lets us safely take the nails shorter, and rounds the edges smoothly so there are no sharp tips. Your pup is more comfortable and your floors thank you.
How often should my dog be groomed?
For most dogs, every 4–6 weeks keeps the coat healthy and prevents matting. Doodles and other long-coat breeds typically need grooming on the shorter end of that range. Short-coat and double-coat breeds can usually go 6–8 weeks. We'll help you build a schedule that works during your first visit.
What if my dog has matting?
We have specialized tools to work through matting, and we'll do our best to address it. For spot matting, we can often work through it without issue. For more severe cases, brushing mats out can be painful for dogs — in those situations, shaving is the kindest option. Depending on the severity, there may be an additional dematting fee. Your groomer will always talk with you before making any decisions.
